Records/ID Division

The Wichita County Sheriff's Office Records/ID Division serves as the primary repository for all records maintained by the Sheriff's Office. The Records/ID Division also responds when requested to process crime scenes for evidence. Additionally, the Division provides a number of services to the public.

Fingerprints

Public Fingerprints for almost any purpose except Citizenship and Commercial Vehicle License.

Fingerprints are taken from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (time subject to change depending on availability of personnel).

Open Records Requests

Open Records Request, Request for Photo Between the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

You must fill out the Open Records Request Form or the Request for Photo Form in order to receive the information requested. Open records requests are typically cleared through the District Attorney's Office.

Patrol Checks

If you live in the un-incorporated areas (out side the city limits of Wichita Falls, Iowa Park, Burkburnett, or Electra) of Wichita County and would like to have a Patrol Check on your property while you are on vacation, please call (940) 766-8276.
