Community Services

The Community Services Section of the Sheriff's Office operates to bring the community and the Sheriff's Office together. Better communication between the citizens of Wichita County and their Sheriff's Office leads to better communities for our families.

Home Inspections

The Community Services Section performs home security inspections. These inspections are provided at no cost and may allow homeowners to qualify for a reduction in insurance premiums. Homes with alarm may see up to a 20% decrease in insurance rates.

Useful Information

In addition to home inspections the Community Services Section manages the Sheriff's Office Citizens Academy.

The Community Services Section also provides assistance to neighborhoods wanting to set up crime watch programs.
